Facilitator Policy

 

We thank you for joining The Soul Mirror in our quest to provide spiritual education and opportunities for self-realization in our community.  In order to provide a quality experience for all our patrons, please take note of the following policies.

 

General Policies

  • Facilitators will set the price of the workshop or consultation.  This price must be charged to all attendees regardless of their registration date or walk in status.  We feel it is unfair to charge two different amounts when the attendees are receiving the same service.
  • If the Facilitator does not set a price and asks for love offerings, it is the Facilitator’s responsibility to announce same during the event.
  • The Soul Mirror will collect all fees and make a check payable to the Facilitator at the end of the event.  This method of payment is necessary for our records because the method of payment for classes varies. 
  • Facilitators are not allowed to sell any merchandise before, during, or after the workshop without permission by The Soul Mirror.  Should we allow permission, a 30% consignment fee will be charged.
  • The Soul Mirror agrees to provide chairs and tables, display boards, and a projector as needed.
  • The Soul Mirror reserves the right to refrain from scheduling an event or consultation for any reason.
  • Every potential facilitator will undergo a formal interview wherein they will be required to demonstrate their knowledge and talents in order to ensure The Soul Mirror is providing the highest quality of service possible.  Neophytes need not apply.

 

Classes/Workshops

  • No attendance minimums will be allowed.
  • All group events are a 60/40 split.  The facilitator receives 60% The Soul Mirror 40%
  • We will not ask for payment in advance of class. 
  • Scheduling an event presupposes a commitment on behalf of the facilitator and The Soul Mirror.  Canceling an event for any reason other than an emergency will result in a $50 charge to the Facilitator.  We will not disappoint expectant attendees because workshop conditions do not suit facilitator expectations.  

 

Private Consultations/ Readings

  • Consistent charges among all facilitators are set for Psychic Fairs and special events.  Participation in an event like this presupposes adherence to the fee schedule.
  • All private consultations are 70/30 split.  The facilitator receives 70%
  • Facilitators are allowed to sell tapes directly to the client for recording.  We will not accept payments for tapes. 
  • Facilitators are not allowed to solicit readings from The Soul Mirror’s clients from their private home or any other location.
  • Business cards distributed to clients must direct clients to The Soul Mirror only.  
  • We screen our readers for accuracy and ethics. We also reserve the right to discontinue scheduling a reader at any time for any reason.

 

It is the intention of The Soul Mirror to provide the best possible experience for our patrons and for our facilitators.  However, we view this experience as one of mutual responsibilities and rewards.  Our goal is to provide space and an opening for you to promote your name and services to our diverse Tampa family.  The best marketer of your services is You.  We encourage you to utilize any appropriate avenues to promote your event.    

 

If you find you are agreeable to the above named policies, please call us at 813-964-1156 to schedule an appointment to plan your event.  We may not be able to assist you if you arrive unannounced during our gift shop hours.
